Braxton County Schools is accepting proposals for mathematics professional development plans, one for the remainder of the 24-25 SY and one for the 25-26 SY. The proposals will address professional development for the West Virginia Content Standards and Objectives for Mathematics for our six elementary schools, one middle school and one comprehensive high school. For the 24-25 SY, the proposal will go through June 30, 2025. A second proposal for 24-25 SY will start July 1 and end August 30, 2026. The RFP is specifically to support improved teacher professional practice and increase student achievement. Proposals should be submitted to: Dr. Leatha Williams at lgwillia@k12.wv.us by January 24, 2025. All proposals must have an email time sent stamp of 3:30 EST to be valid, if hand delivered, they must be time stamped by the front secretary by 3:30 on January 24, 2025.
