From August 19 through September 30, Braxton County Schools students and staff showed just how much showing up matters! Davis Elementary earned top honors as both our Elementary Winner and Overall County Attendance Champion, posting an outstanding chronic absence rate of just 2.7% and taking first place in five grade levels. Congratulations also go to Braxton County Middle School, our Secondary Winner, and to Flatwoods Elementary's 2nd grade, BCMS's 6th grade, and BCHS's 11th grade for leading their levels.
Every day in school is a chance to learn, grow, and connect. Thank you to our families, students, and staff for working together to make attendance a priority. Keep up the great work, Braxton County! 🏆
