This is a notification that Bus 36A will be going to the Weyerhaeuser field at Heaters to drop off soccer students for practice on this Friday, Sept. 26, and Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, which will delay normal times for students to get home by approximately 15 minutes. Please make note of these days. Again, that is Fridays, Sept 26 and Oct 10, 2025 arrival home will be approximately 15 minutes later. Thank you.
Good Evening, Due to driver shortage and drivers out sick for tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, students that ride bus 34A will be picked up and delivered to school by buses 38A, 47, 39A, and 49, each sharing a portion of the route. Students living up Pizza Hut hill will be picked up by Bus 47 in the morning and delivered to Davis, the times may be off some. For the afternoon students riding 34A that attend Davis and live up Pizza Hut hill will be picked up at Davis at 3 pm and delivered home 15 minutes early by Bus 47. Please be sure to be there to meet the bus 15 minutes early. Students that attend Davis and live downriver to Frametown Elementary will be delivered by Bus 49. Students that live downriver to Joe's Fork Rd. parents should meet Bus 39A at the end of Joe’s Fork, morning and afternoon. Students living up Tate Creek will need to meet Bus 38A at the mouth of Tate Creek morning and evening. Thank you.

Good morning, Monday, August 25, 2025. This message is for Students on Scotts Fork Bonnie Rd that ride Buses 31A and 41A and that formerly rode 34A. Due to a tree in the road at Lloydville Church, Bus 41A is waiting for DOH to remove the tree so that the route may be completed, Bus 31A will be unable to complete her route due to the tree in the road. Both Bus 31A and 41A are attempting to complete as much of their routes as possible and could be late this morning. Thank you.

There has been a slight change to the Braxton County School's calendar.
Monday, October 13th - NO LONGER a Professional Learning Day. Students are to attend school.
Wednesday, October 1st - No Student Day - Now a Professional Learning Day for staff training.
(The 2nd Faculty Senate Meeting has also moved from October 13th to October 1st)
All calendars posted to the main webpage will reflect the new version if you wish to save, screenshot, print, and share the updates. Printed versions are available in the Braxton County Board office if you'd like to pick one up.
This message is for middle and high school students currently riding Bus #49 that live on Enterprise Drive up Pizza Hut hill. Beginning tomorrow, Thursday, August 21st, 2025, middle and high school students on Enterprise Drive up Pizza Hut hill will now need to ride Bus #39A to and from school due to over crowding on Bus #49. The new approximate pick up and return times for Bus #39A will be 7:20 A.M. and 3:40 P.M. respectively. Again; middle and high school students now ride Bus #39A and the new times are 7:20 a.m. and 3:40 p.m. Thank you.
The Braxton County Board Office will be closed on Wednesday August 13th & Thursday August 14th for staff training. Regular business hours and operations will resume on Friday August 15th.
