This message is for families of students who ride either Bus 36A, Marcy Westfall, or Bus 42A, Arnold Bender. These buses will not be running tomorrow, Tuesday, September 21. We hope that families will be able to find a way to send their children to school. Again, buses 36A and 42A will not run on Tuesday.

If you cannot place an order electronically please contact the school secretary to place your order. Student lunch numbers are required. All orders must be placed today by 1:30pm. Sutton Elementary will be on Remote Learning Tuesday, September 14 and Wednesday, September 15 due to a shortage of staff. We apologize for any inconvenience. Parents of Sutton Elementary a learning plan was sent home with your student this afternoon. Braxton County Schools will notify you on Wednesday of the plan for the remainder of week for Sutton Elementary.

Attention Parents and Guardians, All students will bring home a form regarding Internet connectivity in your homes. The American Recovery Act of 2021 provides funding for schools to cover expenses for internet services and devices for students without home access. To help Braxton County Schools determine our needs for the coming school year, please complete the form sent home with students today and return it to school on September 13, 2021. If your student does not get the form to you. You may download and print the form from the home page of the Braxton County Schools website. It will be a green button mid page titled ECF Internet Form.

Attention Parents,
Flatwoods Elementary has been closed due to inclement weather. Students from Flatwoods Elementary were sent to Braxton County High Schools. Braxton County High School and Braxton County Middle School will be dismissed at 11am. Each elementary dismissal time will also be adjust to accommodate the early dismissal. Parents please make arrangements to have someone available to meet young children at the drop off locations.

Welcome Dr. Grace Wine as Principal of Little Birch Elementary!
The Burnsville Bruins roared into the first day of school. The principal and service staff were working hard to make it a great first day of school.
It was a great day to be a Little Mountaineer! Sutton Elementary staff were working hard to welcome back students.
Frametown Elementary had a wonderful opening today. The staff was so excited to see the students and be back to the business of education.
