We would hope that families would be able to find a ride for their students to attend school today. The bus will be able to take the students home. This message is for families of Braxton County Schools students.
Due to the pandemic and particularly to contact tracing, students are to ride only the bus they are assigned to ride. Currently, the bus pass is to be used only if the student must have a bus change in a permanent situation. For instance, the student needs to ride a different bus every evening. Another example would be the student must ride a different bus on Friday evening and Monday morning every other weekend.
Again, due to safety and contact tracing during the pandemic, bus passes are to be used only for permanent changes.

This message is for parents of students at Flatwoods Elementary and Braxton County Middle School and is for informational purposes only. Due to a circumstance in the community this morning, these schools were locked down today for approximately 30 minutes. No inciddent occurred in the schools or on school property. Please give our gratitude to your children for working so well with their teachers and administration as we all work together for safety and protection. All is well; all is clear. Hello Parents and Guardians, This is a message to notify everyone that our internet service and phones are down. There has been a circuit break between Sutton and Morgantown. Our provider is working to restore service.
Attention Parents and Guardians with students that ride buses 40A and 27A. These buses will not run tomorrow. Thank you.
Parents of Sutton Elementary Students, You may place an order for a 2 day meal bag by using the form on our webpage. If you cannot place an order electronically please contact the school secretary to place your order. Student lunch numbers are required. All orders must be placed today by 1:30pm. Meal bags may be picked up between 11:30-1 pm on 9.15.2021.

Attention Parents and Guardians that have students riding bus 40A. Bus 40A will not run tomorrow September 14, 2021 in the morning or afternoon.
Sutton Elementary will be on Remote Learning Tuesday, September 14 and Wednesday, September 15 due to a shortage of staff. We apologize for any inconvenience. Parents of Sutton Elementary a learning plan was sent home with your student this afternoon. Braxton County Schools will notify you on Wednesday of the plan for the remainder of week for Sutton Elementary.
