The road closure affecting Bus 34A has been extended thru Oct. 13, 2024. Students from Beech Fork to Shoney's will need to have parent/guardian transportation to and from school and all students living up Salt Lick will need to meet the bus at the end of the road at 7:45 am.

Bus 48, formerly 26A will be running approximately 30 minutes behind this morning. Again, bus 48 will be running 30 minutes late this morning.
Bus 36A was involved in a minor accident this afternoon. A car rear-ended the bus near Flatwoods Elementary School. There were NO injuries. Another bus is in route to pick the students up and transport them home. Student will be arriving home late.

If your student lives out Monkey Rd / Salt Lick Rd. you will need to meet Bus 35A at the end of that road at 3:40 pm. Students living out Exchange riding 31A and students riding 34A out Scotts Fork / Bonnie Rd. will be delivered by Bus 31A a little later today than usual. Thank you.

This message is for the parents of students of Bus 41A. Due to a driver shortage and drivers out sick for today and tomorrow afternoon , Sept. 5th and 6th , students that ride Bus 41A from Davis Elementary up Pizza Hut hill will be picked up at Davis Elementary at 3:00 PM by Bus 30A and dropped at their homes 15 minutes early. Students that are picked up at Davis Elementary and are delivered downriver toward Frametown Elementary will be picked up and delivered by Bus 30A. Those that ride Bus 41A from Frametown Elementary downriver to Joe's Fork parents will need to meet the bus at the end of Wilsie Rd. Those that live up Tate Creek will need to meet the bus at the mouth of Tate Creek. There will be a driver available to cover the morning run on Friday Sept 6th, but this plan will repeat tomorrow afternoon. Thank you for your understanding.

Mr. Via the Attendance Director and the Braxton County Attendance Committee is challenging all students in Braxton County to miss less than 8 days of school this year! Students who miss less than 4 days during the first semester will be recognized at a sporting event. Please note, the bus will be running one hour later until school begins , August 5-21, 2024. On Thursday, August 22, the buses will run as the schedule is posted.
